Protect your computer with these tips! Part 1

Are you afraid of getting a virus, spyware or malware? Here are some tips on what can be done to better protect your computer!

1. Keep your antivirus up to date - we can't begin to stress how important this is! We routinely work on computers with out of date antivirus software or worse yet, none at all! The main line of defense that any computer has is its antivirus software. AVG (made by Grisoft) is the top program we recommend and the killer thing is that they offer a FREE edition! 2. Malware and spyware protection should also be installed - we say this becuase it's not just viruses that can damage your computer. Malware and spyware are making their way around the internet and if you haven't read or ducomentation on the wonderful Antivirus XP/Vista/2008/2009 then you should! These types of infections can do just as much damage as a virus and we recommend using Malwarebytes which you can get it HERE and for spyware removal we recommend SUPERAntiSpyware which you can get HERE

3. Once you get security software keep it up to date and run regular scans. You can have all the protection in the world but if it's out of date and you don't run it, it does you about as much good as using your little kitty for home security, instead of your great big guard dog!
